All treatments are subject to professional assessment, suitability, medical history, contraindications, and practitioner discretion. Treatment outcomes vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.
2. Medical and Cosmetic Treatments
Certain treatments offered by The Skin Fitness Clinic may involve prescription-only medicines, regulated medical devices, or cosmetic procedures that require assessment and approval by an appropriately qualified and registered health practitioner.
In accordance with Australian law, Queensland legislation, AHPRA guidelines, and Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) regulations:
- Any treatment involving Schedule 4 (Prescription Only) medications will only be provided following an appropriate medical consultation and assessment by an authorised prescribing practitioner.
- Prescription-only medications cannot be guaranteed, requested by name, or promised prior to consultation.
- The decision to prescribe, recommend, modify, postpone, or decline treatment rests solely with the treating medical practitioner.
- Clients acknowledge that treatment recommendations may differ from their requested treatment if a practitioner determines an alternative approach is more appropriate or safer.
3. Dermal Therapy and Skin Treatments
Skin treatments and dermal procedures are performed by qualified dermal therapists and trained practitioners operating within their professional scope of practice.
Prior to treatment, clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, recent procedures, pregnancy status, and any other information that may impact treatment safety or outcomes.
The Skin Fitness Clinic reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or modify treatment where a practitioner determines that treatment may be unsuitable or pose a risk to the client.

By proceeding with treatment, clients acknowledge that:
- They have received sufficient information regarding the treatment.
- They understand the benefits, risks, limitations, recovery requirements, and possible complications.
- They have had the opportunity to ask questions and receive satisfactory answers.
